We read 100’s of blogs each week from Australia and all over the world. With so many blogs out there it is sometimes hard to distinguish which ones provide relevant and useful information.
Welcome to Beauty and Lifestyle Hunter by Karina. A blog providing interesting reviews and articles on topics we enjoy such as beauty, fashion and interior design.
We spent five minutes with Karina read what she had to say below:
1. What was your first blog article about?
It was a product review for Dr.Lewinns Skin Perfect Anti-Ageing Foundation – It had just been launched, and I loved it, and the fact that it is treating and caring my ageing skin at the same time as covering blemishes and imperfections. And I still love that foundation.
2. Do you have a favourite designer/brand or product?
My favourite designers depend on the type of product – being from Denmark, I have a natural love for simple things of great design and quality. Things that design-wise can stand the test of time, and I know I’ll still love and wear in decades from now. Jewellery wise, I can never go past Danish Georg Jensen – I have some pieces that I received over 20 years ago and still wear. I also like the Georg Jensen homewares for their simple, clean lines. Regarding clothing, I have loved Cue since arriving in Australia in 1999 (and I still have a few pieces from then which I wear proving how good the quality is). But as I am currently not working, I do tend to wear more casual clothes from Country Road and Witchery.
As for skincare and makeup…ohhh, the list is endless, and I love a variety of brands varying from high-end to cheaper drugstore brands.
3. Who are your favourite fashion or beauty bloggers and why?
I’m not entirely sure if this is classified as a blogger, but I love the Beautyheaven site, and I have been a member of the site since it was launched in 2006 and 2007, and I have been a part of their regular trial team, where I got the taste for doing regular product reviews. I love that the site is continuously updated, not only with product reviews but also with interesting articles on anything relating to health and beauty.
Regarding other beauty bloggers, I also love Spoilt by Pink Diva. I love the variety and frequency of blog posts, and I love that a private blog run on a casual basis even has its trial team too.
