‘Pigalle’, an area in the north of Paris was a highly favoured neighbourhood for Mr Louboutin. This love for ‘Pigalle’ flirtatiously managed to steal the name of this striking simple pump. This desirable heel is available in all sorts of colours and height variations but all retain one important characteristic, they’ll always be that classic pump.
My search for a classic black pump lasted what felt like a lifetime. It began with all the local retail stores and simple searches online but nothing really caught my attention. When I spotted these I knew I had to have them. I decided to take the plunge and I haven’t looked back. Investing this classic pair of black heels was well worth it.
Although these pumps live a lazy life, cushioned up in their padded box, I know when they see the light of day and night, they will be that striking pump which will win my heart over again and again. The upside to this is they have a long shelf life and managed to make that special night even better. Even though I love paring these refined pumps with some roughed up boyfriend jeans to give it that casual look, they also double as very flattering corporate and evening wear pumps.
