December has come around quicker than expected..
I remember walking on my lunch break putting a lay-bye for my niece and nephew and thinking I was done.. I’m on top of things.. Far from it.
This little blog post will just be some last minute tips for gifting
Some last minute Christmas Gift ideas:
Unisex Gift: (This is one I chose this year) A magazine subscription… The mag shop have some great deals! Get the current issue add some ribbon and let them know for the next 12 months there favourite magazine will be coming.
Kids: Kids love toys.. but most kids have everything already and there poor mothers or AUNTIES like myself will be lining up returning items as they properly already got the item.
Check out Ticketmaster they have shows from Barbie live to Wind in the Willow (gives the children something to look forward to in the months to come). Grab a bag of popcorn and stick the tickets on there and add some fabulous ribbon (what a cute gift). Movie tickets would work to!
Friends: My girlfriends and I used to go overboard with gifts (I’ve said no gifts this year but I love buying a little something to those who are close to me)
Traveled with a friend recently? Get them a money box. I picked up a super cheap money box that counts the coins and will add a little slogan ‘’saving for our next trip’’ It can be found on Ebay!
Have a friend who loves Animals? How about some cute animal toys or clothing Peter Alexander has a great selection.
Vouchers: Some people call them LAZY gifts they are not! If you know a shop your friend, boyfriend, dad whoever loves! Boxing day is around the corner they will love to grab a sale.
Alcoholic Gift: Again not a lazy gift at all! Wine drinkers love a bottle of wine as a gift (quick and easy) If it’s a girlfriend team it up with a scented candle! Affordable and cute!
Clothing.. Assesories.. shoes: THE ICONIC are having an amazing sale at the moment and you will get it the next day make an order by 2pm and you will get it the next day (Australia Wide) If they don’t like it let them know that they have a 100 day return policy which I find amazing!!
Tips to take on:
- Write a list of everything you need to do before Christmas
- Work out a budget
- Put thought into each gift (hope the above helps)
- I am big on packaging! Make it look pretty! Big W and your local $2 shop will have a huge variety of bags, boxes etc
- Remember to breath with only a few days left look after yourself.. book yourself into get your nails done to get some you time. Go red, green and white! Think FESTIVE!
I hope everyone has a lovely Christmas with there loved ones, remember to give to those in need and if you don’t like any gifts you receive. Save it for next year (to re gift it) Or put it on Ebay! I have done it a million time. But we can talk about that next year.
Haha! Stay stylish x.Zerin
