If you are like me and simply cannot part with your statement gold ring then it will require a regular clean if you want it looking at its best at all times.

Below you will find easy to follow steps on how to clean your gold ring using my Bvlgari B.zero1 as an example (and other gold jewellery such as your gold earrings, gold necklace, gold cuffs and gold bracelets).

Step 1. Grab a small cup, mug or bowl and fill it half way with warm water. Add some drops of liquid detergent.

Step 2. Place your gold jewellery inside and leave it to soak for a good 15 minutes.

Step 3. Using a soft bristle toothbrush, gently scrub the piece of jewellery, paying extra attention especially to the back and inside of the gold ring as this is the area I find builds up the most dirt.

Step 4. MAKE SURE TO CLOSE the drain of your sink and rinse each piece in warm running water.

Step 5. Allow the jewellery to air dry or blot dry with a soft cloth.

Voilà, you are now left with a super clean, sparkly gold ring.
