Cor da Moda – Part Two

After pulling off a successful 2009 Cor da Moda fashion event, we decided to host the event again in 2010. In this blog post, I will take you briefly through details of the 2010 event.

Here are some of the printed material that I personally designed for the evening.

Cor Da Moda Award — Awards were handed out on the night for Best Dressed and Best Designed outfits.

Cor Da Moda Poster — Here is an example of the type of promotional posters that were used to promote Cor da Moda.

Cor Da Moda Program_2 — Here is a list of all of the silent auction items that were kindly donated for the event.

Cor Da Moda Program — I was also very proud to be able to bring together some major brands including Saba, T2, Bugatti and Audi of course.

The 2010 Cor da Moda brought Canberra’s finest brands together under the one roof, whilst supporting and showcasing the graduating Fashion Design students designs from the Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT).

Proceeds from the money raised from the ticket sales and the silent auction items were donated to Marymead.

Who knows if I’ll end up ever again in Canberra. If I do, I’d love the opportunity to be involved with something like this again.

Cor Da Moda (3) — A gorgeous display of large and very juicy strawberries purchased from the Fyshwick markets. The perfect thing to serve alongside a chocolate fountain!

Cor Da Moda (4) — Socrates and I taking time out for photos. My dress was custom made for this night. Looking back, I would have preferred a longer dress as I thought this dress was a little too cocktail for the event.

Cor Da Moda (6) — A live band performing some famous jazz tunes. This band was terrific and brought a lot of life to the event.
