I stumbled across Le Theatre Dior, an intimate display in the Dubai Mall of 60 small-scale Dior Haute Couture gowns, each perfectly identical to the original.
Le Theatre Dior is a tribute to the meticulous handiwork of the House of Dior Haute Couture ateliers, who have painstakingly sewn the details of these miniatures to resemble the original gowns down to the very last detail. From the little Bar ensemble to the miniature ball gowns each small piece perfectly captures the essence and spirit of Dior.
I was very interested in this exhibition because I’d seen some of these Haute Couture Gowns in person at The Fashion Icons exhibition in Adelaide only last year.
