Ohh la la. I see London, I see France, and I see someone’s drab, drab face. By now we all have said farewell to the hot summer season, but have our faces? Did they not endure long, long days of the blistering sun, the salty sea, pore clogging sweat, and cakey makeup? Guilty and so are you. Don’t agonise my lovelies; we can get your beautiful fresh face back to feeling like a baby’s backside.
Pineapples. Take in that sickly sweet scent. I bet you were taken back to those lazy hazy summer days? Not only are these babies a tropical statement, but they’re also jam packed with all the good stuff. Primarily this tropical fruit when applied to the face acts as a natural exfoliant. Is your face feeling dry, dull, why not let some pineapple buff away those dead skin cells. Full of enzymes, pineapples are super heroes at fighting free-radical damage. Gone are the days of lines and blemishes and pimples for that matter. Forget science, I took the liberty of finding a simple, yet soothing facial mask. So follow along if you too are in need of a fresh face.
Please find below me steps for making the perfect DIY face exfoliant:
Step 1 – Find yourself a pineapple, cutting off the top bottom and sides.
Step 2- Roughly chop up the pineapple and throw it into a blender, or if you’re like me a stick blender works just as well.
Step 3 – Add a teaspoon of honey and blend away.
Side note – adding honey can also rid your skin of wrinkles and acts a soother for your skin, especially seeing as pineapple contains acid that if left on to long can burn your skin. Apply the mixture to your freshly washed face and leave on for fifteen minutes.
Step 4 – Wash off the mess, and wellah. Did I not just save your skin? Like you normally do, test a small area of skin checking for a reaction, before you cover your face.
