Some days we girls really can’t be bothered putting effort into what we’re wearing because looking good all the time gets hard. Instead of being lazy and throwing on a pair of sweatpants and sweater to head out today, I opted for something more stylish than that.

Boyfriend jeans have always been something I wanted to purchase but I was worried they would actually look too baggy and I’d be welcomed by hip-hop dancers into their alley-way meetings.  But these boyfriend jeans from Dotti have been one of my favourite items in my wardrobe. They’re so effortless and can also be worn during the warmer days as they aren’t too tight to make you feel uncomfortable in the heat.
And you can’t go wrong with a white v-neck t-shirt to accompany any kind of denim. Simple, clean and fresh – just what I need on days I’m feeling lazy.

The thing that completes this outfit the most is unarguably my Lily Black Leather Sandals by Windsor Smith. They add a bit of edge to this simple outfit and are surprisingly very comfortable. They can be worn with pretty much anything; jeans, dresses, skirts, shorts, stockings, leggings! Except for sweatpants…

I also have my handy handbag from Colette which fits basically all my essentials and is very sturdy. I could be carrying bricks in there all day and the handles won’t start to tear apart from the stitching like most of my past handbags.

So there it is; my outfit of the day. Simple yet somewhat easy on the eye. Who said being stylish and looking good was hard?
