Here is my second post of the 2-day workshop I completed from The Entourage Launch program called the Product to Market Fit. This workshop was a lot more interactive than the first Vision, Mission, and Values 2-day workshop. It included plenty of exercises that forced us to dive head first into our customers’ mindset to discover their pain points. One of the exercises included contacting my customers and asking them specific questions about their challenges, dislikes, likes and frustrations when selling or buying wedding items online.
We also went through the steps to take to test our product or service to see if it fits the market and if what we offered addressed customer’s frustrations. It was refreshing to examples of previous ideas from the group of ideas they had which they didn’t test and as a result ended up spending a lot of time and money working on ideas that didn’t address a customer’s needs, wants or desires.
Learning how to go through this validation process will help to avoid wasting any of my time (and money) working on ideas that people probably will never use.
Overall, I loved this second workshop and can’t wait to share with you what I worked I did in the third module of the Launch program which is the Sales Strategies workshop.
