Sequined, heavily glittered and embellished shoes popped up a couple of years back in the traditional and safe colours such as black, silver, gold and red. However, now there are so many different designs to choose from. I love the many tones and colours out there such as purple, pink, teal and bronze.
These sparkly Miu Miu sandals had my attention when they were on display at the Luisa boutique along Collins Street in Melbourne. It’s a conservative design from Miu Miu, considering some of their other glitter sandals are a lot more out there. But I like the simplicity, and a little bit of glitter is fun.
Fashion tip: A bit of glitter is fashionable, but don’t go overboard. A big no to those who want to match their glitter bags to their shoes and jewellery.
