There is a suburb close to me that is known to be a very dog-friendly and it’s common to see pooches dressed up, walking happily with their owners by their side.
You know I’m a sucker for small dogs, so I was excited to hear about a new high-end boutique specialising in select apparel for dogs. I’m not a fan of putting my little guy in clothes, as I know he doesn’t like it, but I know some owners love dressing up their dogs.
Goochie and I were welcome with open arms and had fun trying on different outfits at Hachi located at 286 Toorak Road in South Yarra. Goochie didn’t like to be in clothes and barely walked around when he was dressed. Luckily I had treats available to give him to make sure he would stay still enough for me to take the photos below of him in a couple of cute outfits.

Hachi is Melbourne’s first pet clothing boutique, and pets are allowed to come in store to try clothes on. Their designs are made in Japan, and they use various materials in their collections such as cotton, polyester, and wool. Hachi caters for dogs as small as 1.3kg all the way up to 38kg.
Hachi has some unique things available for your dog such as dog strollers – yes select strollers for your dog, as well as crusted Swarovski collars and leads.
If you are in Melbourne or ever in the area and want to spoil your dog, pop your head into Hachi, you will easily spend an hour in there looking through their amazing collections!
