Life InStyle was held last week at the Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne. It’s an annual exhibition that brings together some of the most talented and emerging lifestyle, fashion and design brands from around Australia. Life InStyle sent a delightful invite to attend a Blogger Breakfast event before the exhibition opened to the public.

The breakfast table was covered with fresh fruits, mini cakes, quiches, and pastries. Some of the other bloggers who attended included: Kylie from Ofkin Phoebe from Lady Melbourne Michelle from Girl.com.au and Megan from The Ideas Library. It was a lovely breakfast event that gave me the chance to mingle with other bloggers as well as the opportunity to walk around the exhibition to meet some of the exhibitors.
Located in the Kids Section, this darling stall was decorated with mini little ‘fairy’ doors. It caught my eye because it was something that I could see appealing to all ages. I met the creator behind the brand, and she mentioned she appeared on Shark Tank recently as well as being active with The Entourage (Australia’s largest Entrepreneurship mentoring grouped which I just signed up to recently).

This brand’s story was unique, unlike other brands; they tested their product in their clothing retail stores to see what kind of feedback and demand it attracted. The feedback was so overwhelming that they officially launched their brand of designer watches. Minimalist rose gold watches are very in at the moment. These watches are designed in Australia by a top notch Industrial Designer and their quality and finish stand out.

The emerging designer section
Located at the entrance of the exhibition was a special area that featured 60 emerging artists. Each designer was given a small area to display his or her creations. This section was very popular, and it was hard to move around because it was very busy.

Here are some other photos from the exhibition.
It was a great exhibition; my advice would be to get in early to enjoy the exhibitors without the crowds. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes because you’re going to be on your feet for a long time.
