Ever since discovering the wonderful world of beauty products at a young age, my life has been that much better. I seem to have this problem where I buy beauty products even if I don’t need them. They then just sit on my dresser and continue to grow and grow and grow. But even through all the different products I’ve been trying and buying, there are a select few which have always stayed on my shopping list.
Maybelline Colossal Mascara: I can’t even remember when I first purchased this mascara. It has always been with me through thick and thin, and I couldn’t recommend a better mascara for everyday use. I’ve also started using the Falsies mascara for more of a dramatic look.
Lucas Paw Paw Ointment: this miracle ointment has been in my bag, pocket, dresser, pencil case for 6 years now! I use it on my lips and any dry or cracked areas on my hands (I have very dry skin), a little bit on my eyebrows to keep them in shape and also on my brow bones to give a light wake-up glow on the days where I leave my face natural.
Maybelline Corrector Concealer: I’ve always had slight under eye circles, but they become that much more obvious when I don’t get enough rest, and trust me it’s not a pretty sight! This green coloured baby covers up most of the darkness under my eyes and doesn’t make it obvious I am wearing concealer as it blends in nicely.
Australis Blush: There’s nothing like adding a sweep of colour onto your cheeks during the winter months! This Australis blush gives an instant glow to your face without looking blotchy!
Sally Hansen Strengthening Nail Polish: I’m lucky to have been blessed with nails with a nice shape and a fast growth rate. But they’ve always chipped on the corners when I was putting on clothes, holding onto shopping bags etc. But I discovered this Sally Hansen Strengthening Nail Polish which gives me nails a glossy coat and the illusion of thicker nails. Oh, and it also makes my nails harder and impossible to chip!
Basiste Dry Shampoo: Dry shampoo should be every girls best-friend, especially for those who are always busy! A while back I found out that washing your hair too often could strip it away from its natural oils, so I started to cut back on the shampoo and started using dry shampoo on the days where my hair felt like it needed to be refreshed. This works a treat as it doesn’t leave a powdery residue unlike some of the other dry shampoos I’ve tried.
Macademia Hair Repair Mask: This is my holy grail for my hair. I’ve started using this around two years ago and it’s helped my a lot! I use it once or sometimes twice a week after my shampoo and conditioner and it leaves my hair soft and tangle-free!
Schwarzkopf Hair Therapy Cream: As you can probably tell by now, I am a huge sucker for hair products. I started using Schwarzkopf Hair Therapy Cream on the ends of my hair to help seal and protect from split ends.
