You know that feeling when you’ve bought something really good that you can’t stop talking about it with your family and friends? Well, this happened to me, after experiencing what it’s like to own a Thermomix, a Dyson and some incredible Enjo cloths. In this post, I want to share these life-changing brands with you as I believe they are some of the most innovative products for the home on the market right now.
Here are my top 3 most innovative items for the home
1.My trusty and very sturdy Thermomix
I use my Thermomix up to 4 times a week, making 90% of the food we eat every day, since first introducing it into our lives over a year ago. It’s by far the most used appliance in my kitchen!
It’s so damn easy to use and to clean – you’ll wonder why you hadn’t purchased one sooner! It does take up more bench space when compared to other appliances.
When it comes to using your Thermomix, you don’t need any prior knowledge of how to cook or prepare food. It’s perfect for an absolute beginner right through to a café owner looking for an extra ‘hand’ to make some custard fillings for their cannoli.
It forces you to be more aware of portion sizes and ingredients used in the food you and your family eat. As a result, we eat a lot healthier, and our cooking and food preparation is also a lot more organised. The Thermomix is also fantastic for bulk cooking and takes the pain away from cooking large amounts of food for the week or if you are entertaining.
Before the Thermomix, I hardly cooked and dreaded anything to do with being in the kitchen such as preparing food. But now I do most of the cooking because I love making food with the Thermomix. I prepare dishes I’d never imagine I could make such as fresh Thai salads, vegetarian lasagna, meatless sausage rolls, no-bake cheesecake, and so much more.
The only thing I dislike about the Thermomix is how it’s sold and distributed. I feel in-home demonstrations and parties turn people off. It’s stressful and time-consuming having to get a bunch of people together when all you want to do is go to the shops, see one in use and buy it (like I do with all the other appliances I buy).
2.Dyson is a superstar vacuum cleaner
Besides cooking, why can’t vacuuming also be enjoyable? Cleaning with a heavy, chunky vacuum is a drag. Depending on your vacuum, you may have to put the pieces together, check if the vacuum bag is empty and plug it into the various rooms in your home when you use it. It’s also a pain to use when you need to clean the inside of your car.
The Dyson V8 is the most pleasurable vacuum I’ve ever used. It’s compact, small and lightweight and has some serious balls – featuring two power modes. I can quickly vacuum our large two-bedroom apartment using one hand and still plenty of battery power left over. I love how it glides, swivels and turns around corners and tight spaces effortlessly. It’s also rewarding to see how much dust it can pick up. It’s also simple to empty, without touching any of the dirt and dust it vacuumed.
I’m not sure how this vacuum would go with a larger house, my first thoughts are you may need to charge it multiple times, but for a one-bedroom to three bedroom size place – it’s excellent.
3.You only need water and an Enjo micro cloth to clean and remove 99% of germs
Mostly everything we eat, use and touch contain chemicals. I know I can’t remove all of them, but I can do my best to eliminate as many chemicals in the home. One of the easiest ways to start is by getting rid of all of those unnecessary sprays we used to clean the kitchen, laundry, and bathroom.
If I told you that you only needed water and an Enjo micro cloth to clean your bathroom and kitchen (or wipe your makeup off) would you believe me?
Any of the Enjo cleaning clothes contain a considerable number (higher than most of the cloths on the market) of microfibres. The more microfibres used, the more absorbent the cloths become. An Enjo cloth picks up almost every single micro and macroparticle when used to wipe down a surface. The water acts a lubricant to help guide the cloth over the dirt particles. So it’s the fibres that do the cleaning (and not the cleaning products) which we are all marketed to believe we need to make things clean.
Did you know that Enjo clothes are the only ones recognised and approved by the Asthma Foundation of Australia?
By investing in Enjo products, it means that I don’t have to buy any cleaning product or cleaning cloths for at least two years. The Enjo will save me hundreds of dollars and keep my place free of harmful chemicals.
If you have something that is as innovative and life-changing as these items above, please let me know. It’s always nice to discover and learn what’s out on the market that is real game-changers.
Hi Rossi,
Dyson vacuum cleaner looks unique and helpful to keep my office clean. Going to have a close look on it.
