Violet Box is a newly established beauty box based in Melbourne. They have an online store where you can purchase products or you can subscribe to their monthly beauty box and receive samples and full size products that are hard to get in Australia! It is especially great for those ladies who have limited time to shop around, and don’t have access to popular brands.
There are some new and well-known products that come in this pretty purple box. Some brands they supply are St. Tropez, Butter London, ModelCo, Calvin Klein, The Vintage Cosmetic Company, Adorn, GHD and many more. As you can see already, most of the products are salon brands, such as GHD, which normally only sells in salons and doesn’t come in boxes.
Everyone receives the same box every month, and each month there is always something exciting and different. In my box I received a ModelCo Ultra Shine Lip Gloss! This is an amazing lip gloss which isn’t thick and sticky, and has a delicious smell. The colour I have is called ‘Strip Tease’, which is a beautiful, light pink colour; perfect for spring!
My next item was pretty slanted tweezers and a nail file from The Vintage Cosmetic Company. These are the ultimate girly tools with their vintage prints!
They also included eyeliner by Jelly Pong Pong in the colour ‘Bronze’. This eyeliner may appear thick, but it applies smoothly and allows you to build it up and blend it out to wear as an eye shadow.
One of my favourite products I received would have to be the Catalina Geo Long and Deep Mascara in ‘Black’. I am a sucker for mascaras and this one ticks all the right boxes. This mascara is not only sweat and water resistant, it can easily come off with makeup wipes or removers unlike most waterproof mascaras!
It also comes with a bonus refill in full size, which means no more wasting money on mascaras! Yay!
