Woolworths online grocery store is seamless and extremely intuitive to use. There is a lot more I can do online compared to when I used to go to the store to shop for my groceries at Woolworths. For instance, I use the search and filter functions to see the best items to buy instantly, I have access to help right away using the live chat function, and enjoy stress-free delivery. These are just a few things that make buying my groceries online with Woolies easy and more affordable.
Another stand out feature is the Recipe section. This section includes 100’s of easy to follow recipes with the ability to add the ingredients required for each recipe instantly. The recipe section is so handy, especially when I’m lost for ideas of what to cook or want to try a new recipe that isn’t available on my Thermomix.

Shopping online with Woolworths is so easy.
I’ve been buying groceries from Woolies online for nearly a year now, using either my laptop, my phone or the Woolworths app to place my order. Regardless of how I buy my groceries, the experience isn’t broken, and my items are conveniently saved in my cart until I’m ready to check out. I love this flexibility because I order my groceries sometimes at a godly hour in the morning while breastfeeding my baby using my phone and then find myself forgetting to check out and doing it sometimes on my laptop while doing some work.
It saves you time and money.
I was quickly wasting up to an hour and a half each time I did a big grocery shop at Woolworths. This includes the time spent browsing and finding items, cross-checking prices, checking out and of course, getting back home. Especially now with two small kids, I can’t think of ANYTHING worse than taking them grocery shopping – well not at this age anyway. So shopping online for my groceries is precisely what I need in my life right now.
Another feature which helps save even more on my grocery bill is being able to see the items I regularly buy on sale. For example, each time I log into Woolworths, the things I buy regularly pop up in the “on-sale section”. If I had to physically search and check the prices of each of these items, it would easily chew up 30 minutes or even more of my precious time.
Another useful function of the online store is the ability to quickly and very easily use up those annoying discount vouchers that I would typically redeem in-store when I check out. I receive weekly discount vouchers as part of my rewards program attached to my private health insurance. However, these vouchers have an extremely long redemption code which means I have to hold up the queue in-store every single time I enter the super long redemption code at the register – it’s such a pain. But now I quickly enter this stupidly long redemption code online when I check out.
Easy, cheap and very convenient delivery
Woolworths has an annual delivery fee that should be advertised a lot more because it’s not apparent that they offer an affordable yearly fee so you can enjoy free delivery. Besides my free delivery, I also appreciate the many different delivery times available, with at least 12-time slots available to choose from daily. The delivery window is usually 3 hours, but there is a super-fast delivery service available – at an additional cost. Another awesome thing I want to highlight about the delivery is the text and email you receive narrowing the delivery time down to one hour.

All in all, I’m thrilled with the experience I’ve had to date with Woolies. It’s saved me time and money and buying groceries isn’t a chore anymore.
