I want to share some highlights from a conversation I had with IP Australia, an Australian Government agency that administers intellectual property rights and legislation relating to designs. IP Australia got in touch after coming across an interview I did with the Australian Retail Association featuring my experience with design, business and marketing. Some of […]
Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival
This month, Melbourne hosted a month-long Fashion Festival at the old Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton. The venue was perfect because it’s big enough to include a grand entrance (inside and outside) that included various interactive food, beauty and fashion stands. There was also a massive selfie wall – which was impossible to get close […]
My Fashion Styling Session with Chelsea
I first meet Chelsea, a Melbourne stylist, 2-years ago when I purchased one of her styling packages that included a half-day shop. I contacted the lovely Chelsea again for her styling help. Despite the fact that I was feeling a lot happier and healthier, I was frustrated with my clothes. My outfits weren’t reflecting the […]
APOM store visit
I was invited to a store visit to see APOM’s brand new boutique, opened in October 2014, located at 326 Carlisle Street in Balaclava, Melbourne. Not only did I have the chance to see the new boutique, but I also met the designers behind the brand. The APOM boutique is beautifully fitted out, featuring elegant and […]
Louis Vuitton High Tea
If you purchase from Louis Vuitton you experience an exceptional level of service. One of the perks includes being exclusively invited to preview their latest collections. The collection was launched as part of a High Tea hosted at the Louis Vuitton Crown Melbourne boutique. On this occasion I was not able to attend so I sent my fashionable girlfriend Mai, who […]
Fashion Icons exhibition in Adelaide
I just had to write this post after visiting the Fashion Icons Exhibition exclusive to the Art Gallery of South Australia. Approximately one hundred haute couture garments were on display. They were on loan from The Musee Des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. The exhibition showcased designs from some of France’s leading fashion designers. What does Haute Couture mean? Couture means dressmaking in French and Haute means high. Before this […]
A Melbourne Fashion Stylist – Part two
In November I wrote about my 1 hour personal styling session with Chelsea, a Melbourne Fashion Stylist. The post covered the things we spoke about as well as the things I learnt. I wanted to give you an idea of what you can expect when having a styling session in your home. In contrast, today I’ll be […]
A Melbourne Fashion Stylist – Part one
I doubt I’m the only one who feels this, but shopping in Melbourne is overwhelming. As a result I’ve developed a phobia for shopping, especially when it comes to shopping for clothes and turned to a fashion stylist for help.
When shopping for clothes I feel confused with all of the options available. How am I suppose to know which style would suit me best? I’ve lost touch with my style and need help as I can’t expect to rely on the people working in the stores to tell me what cut, colour, fabric or style of clothing would suit me best.
Cor da Moda – Part Two
After pulling off a successful 2009 Cor da Moda fashion event, we decided to host the event again in 2010. In this blog post, I will take you briefly through details of the 2010 event. Here are some of the printed material that I personally designed for the evening. The 2010 Cor da Moda brought Canberra’s finest […]
Canberra’s first fashion event at Audi – Cor da Moda
As part of a two-part blog post, I will be sharing with you my experience of co-owning a high-end leather footwear and handbag boutique with my mother in 2008. I was happy to be in charge of the marketing activities. I loved and still love fashion, and I am passionate about introducing new ideas to people. One […]
Shoes of Prey – The Final Verdict
The Final Verdict – Why I had to call it off with Shoes of Prey I was hoping this blog post was going to turn out different. After speaking so highly about Shoes of Prey and the experience I had, I wanted to end this post on a positive. But after sending my shoes back […]

I admire what she has created with her start up online fashion […]
Shoes of Prey – Part 2
I received my shoes after placing my first order with Shoes of Prey and was impressed at the attention paid to the detail of the packaging. Below you will find photos taken of my new shoes. I loved the texture and the feel of the paper used for my thank you note. I thought the black coloured envelope […]
Shoes of Prey – Part One
I finally ordered my first pair of custom-made shoes from Shoes of Prey. I first heard about Shoes of Prey, a website which allows you to personalise and custom design your own shoes, back in 2009 and ever since have been fascinated by them. Their approach to the entire user journey online (and offline) as […]
5 Essential Accessories for a Style Queen
Everyone has a few items they really couldn’t live without. Like, if the mafia took them away, I’d chase after them and put up a fair fight, guns or no guns. Legit. So I thought I’d share my top 5: Black Wedge Sneakers These are amazing; they match with pretty much any outfit and can […]
Australian Headwear – Cabbage Palm Hats
Cabbage Palm Hats, also known as Cabbage Tree Hats, were worn in Australia around the 1800’s and were made by the early convicts. They were narrow brimmed and light to wear, protecting the convicts during the day from the harsh rays of the Australian sun. Most of the plaiting done by these early settlers would take […]
Weekend outfit
Hi lovers, So on Saturday I went shopping and picked up this cute outfit. Like I said on my previous post boyfriend jeans are my favourite this season. This is a more casual, comfy outfit and it gives it a more street chick look. I’m in love with my knitted crop top. So so comfy! […]

The Fashion Bible – Australian Vogue
So my main fashion high last month was purchasing my very first Australian Vogue. It looked so pretty and it was the last copy on the shelf so it was clearly meant to be. It was love at first sight with cover girl Mia Wasikowska featuring in Vogue’s Fashion meets Art issues which is right […]
Op-shoppery – Retro Heels
Frequenting Op Shops has long been a hobby of mine since I never know what treasures I may unearth. Also because I spend way too much money on clothing and shoes that end up collecting dust at the back of my closet. Op Shopping does require patience, time and much fossicking which can be quite […]
A fresh wardrobe start
From my first pay check when I was 19. Every week there would be a new item or two added to my closet… that was on a tamed week. I remember sitting in the office with my best friend the amount of items we would order would not be normal. Adding to your cart is dangerous. The […]
Nike Frees – Is it a Fashion Trend?
I’ve never seen so many Nikes around the city, since when is it actually a fashion trend? It was a slow growing one, though when people really took notice of it they just blew up and spread everywhere. On Bourke St, Chapel St and all through Melbourne’s CBD you see people wearing mostly the Nike […]
Photoshoot – Behind the Scenes
In my most recent shoots, I’ve had models Kelly Kooper, Stephanie Hanley, Hailey Simpson and child star Kaila Dempsey who were all fab! Makeup and hair artist Simon Bull was also incredible and extremely speedy! But to top the shoots off I’ve had outfits supplied by Global Vintage Collective (Bridge Road) AND some stunning pieces […]
Confessions of a Shopoholic
These are the thirty pairs of shoes I own. Sounds like a lot, right? Yep! According to the Daily Mail, the average woman owns twenty pairs of shoes but only wear a quarter of them. I’ve worn each pair of shoes at least once, but the ones at the front are the ones I wear […]
Summer Sandals
This summer the trend of white or black sandals has really spread quickly and fast. Whether you’re going out to the shops, into the city with friends or out for a meal, they seem to be everywhere! Today I was in a Windsor Smith shop where they sell all the different types of sandals people have […]

Giddy Up – Cox Plate Spring Racing Carnival
At Cox Plate on Saturday I was fortunate enough to be invited into the Members sections (I know, not quite C class celebrity infested Birdcage) where I entered the ‘Fashion Parade’. Gone were the days of playing it safe, it was like entering a European fiesta. I became so mesmerised in women’s outfits (sorry males) […]
